The tandem paragliding flight of initiation is a recreational flight executed with an instructor, the paragliding being like a non-rigid, inflatable wing, which allows the pilot to float on the air currents after takeoff. The material from which it is built is a nylon fabric, wrapped with silicone, weighing up to 15kg and consisting of a series of parallel cells swollen by air. These cells are connected to a series of thin wires that support the pilot's seat.

- Bunloc Peak in Sacele – flight time of 10-15 minutes. April-October
- Postavaru from Poiana Brasov – flight time of 15-20 minutes. November – March every day. April – October during the week.
